Dear Families,

Welcome to Holy Trinity Child Care Center! You have entered into a very special school-to-home partnership.

Our purpose has been to provide a safe, loving, nurturing environment that preserves the experience of childhood. At HTCCC we believe children benefit from a balanced education that invites creativity and curiosity into the learning process. Science, technology, engineering, art, math and language are balanced with gardening, music and movement, world languages, dramatic expressions, dance, and unstructured play. Through project based learning, children gain knowledge and discover their world through active, hands-on experiences. In our classrooms, you might see a child using his finger to trace a letter in a sand tray, and record it in his journal to working in a group project by investigating the life cycle of praying mantis.

In addition to providing a high quality early education for young children, we also believe that a successful program depends on the quality of our connection with our student’s families. Learning is a joint venture between teachers, children and families. Parent involvement is highly encouraged here at HTCCC, whether you be an active member on our Parent Advisory Board, attend Parent Meetings, assist with Fundraising, Plan events, or be a guest reader in your child’s classroom.

We believe that communication is the key to a successful partnership. Every week you will receive a blog from your child’s class, documenting what the children learned during that week. At the beginning of each month, I will email “What’s Happening at HTCCC” Newsletter that will captivate children’s work, upcoming events, and important reminders. We will make every effort to ensure that you feel welcome and have peace of mind each time you bring your child to HTCCC. Please feel free to call, email or visit the office if you have any questions, or concerns.

I look forward to sharing the memorable preschool years with you and your family!

Many Blessings,
Ms. Foster
